Trislot USA, is the newly established subsidiary of the Belgian company Trislot N.V. With this new production site, we want to optimize our service level and delivery times for the North American market.

Trislot has built up an unparalleled reputation as a manufacturer of very high quality stainless steel wedge wire screens, internals and filter elements. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries such as: starch, sugar and other food processing, oil & gas: onshore, offshore, refining and petrochemical; beer brewing; waste water both industrial and municipal; automotive; machinery and other industrial equipment; chemical and many other industries.

Job description

Trislot USA, Inc. is hiring independent sales representatives to strengthen the company in various regions of the United States and Canada. The purpose is to generate new sales in our focus fields being: starch processing plants, sugar refineries, oil refining, petrochemicals, municipal waste water, industrial waste water and beer production. We are looking for dedicated people with extensive experience in one or more of the above mentioned fields.


The regional independent sales representative is responsible for one or more specific industries in a well-defined region The main responsibility is to generate new profitable business in a specific region and industry As a regional Trislot sales representative you are the account manager for your customers, the product manager in your specific field, and the area manager for your region Develop a sales strategy and plan together with your manager Provide professional advice to customers about technicalities, products, prices and lead times Assist customers in resolving technical issues and/or complaints (also after sales took place) Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments You shall report your action oriented sales activities on a weekly basis to your manager

Requirements (profile)

With your previous experience you have built up a good understanding of at least one of the above mentioned focus industries Preferably you already represent other companies in one of the above mentioned focus fields, and you would like to expand your product portfolio with the Trislot products. Having an existing customer base in one of our focus fields is a big plus! You have a minimum of 3 years sales experience You are a fluent in English, Spanish is an asset. You live in the United States or Canada, and you will travel to our site in Ramsey NJ from time to time. You do not mind to travel multiple days in a row to visit customers/prospects You enjoy active prospecting, and you know how to detect the needs of the customers and how to convert those needs into real sales results. You have enthusiastic personality and you can transfer this to the customer You are a "go-getter", you don't take no for an answer. You have a talent in negotiations. You are sufficiently technically skilled in order to assist your customers with their technical questions. A basic knowledge about filtration is a definite plus.
