Job brief:
A machine operator is a full-time occupation in which you will operate and maintain wedge wire production machines. You will report to the shop supervisor directly. This job might require working late shifts.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible to run automated wedge wire (fuse welding) production machines
- You will perform quality inspection (dimensional, welding strength and slot checks) on the machine
- You work closely together with and report to the shop supervisor
- You strictly adhere to the ISO 9001 regulations
- You strictly adhere to the company’s safety and quality policies
- You will communicate any issues (timing, machine breakdowns, etc.) with shop supervisor
- You perform routine maintenance on the machines that you operate
Requirements:
- Some experience in the field as a machine operator is a plus; but it is not a must
- You are willing to work in both late and early shifts
- You are problem solver
- You have a mechanical aptitude
- You can read and understand: Technical drawings
- You work in very detailed/punctual oriented manner
